St Martin's Church Werrington is the church near to the stately home of Werrington Park. When my grandparents met, they had both worked at Werrington Park, my Gran was the Head Housemaid, and my grandfather was the Butler! At the time when I was born, my grandfather was again the Butler at Werrington Park. I know precious little about Werrington Church, except that on the one occasion that I visited it I thought it was especially attractive and very well ordered. |
