Ss Protus & Hyacinth. Blisland

The church of Ss Protus and Hyacinth at Blisland. Blisland church is one of the most amazingly beautiful in the country let alone in Cornwall!  Blisland is a tiny village on the edge of Bodmin Moor - very bleak in winter, and not that much fun in summer!  The roads to Blisland are very poor single track, and if you meet a tractor coming the other way, you have a good way to reverse before either of you has a space to pass! Sir John Betcheman wrote about Blisland church and was particularly fond of it.
