One of the most beautiful churches in the whole of Cornwall. The church of the Most Holy Trinity, Penponds. Penponds is a small village on the outskirts of Camborne, and the church serves the communities of Penponds and Barripper villages. It has a wonderful traditional Anglo Catholic tradition (I occasionally treated myself to a visit there when Fr John Harris was the Vicar - who is the current Vicar at St Gluvias church, Penryn.) I managed during my recent holiday to attend the Wednesday morning, which was conducted according to the 1662 Prayer Book. |
