St George's Day

St George's Day - Wednesday 23rd April 2008

At the close of a lovely spring St George's day we gathered to mark
our National Saint with a Sung Solemn Eucharist. After singing the words of Newman, Spring-Rice & Blake to
melodies from Smart, Holst & Parry we enjoyed nibbles which patriotically came in red, white and blue wrappers.

St George's Day, 23rd April 2007

On Monday 23rd April we celebrated St George's Day and were very pleased to
welcome Fr James Westcott from St Chad's Haggerston in London to Preach at a Solemn Eucharist.

On Monday the 24th April Fr Mark Williams from Barnet Vale visited to preach
at our Solemn Eucharist.
