Holy Cross - 13th September 2009

A very special service - Not only was it Holy Cross Sunday but we also had the Bishop of Bedford visiting us to preach and Celebrate Mass and on top of all this we were able to say a big thanks to Joan
who has occupied the organ stool for sixty years.

Exaltation of The Holy Cross - Sunday 14th September

  
Holy Cross Sunday gives us the opportunity to process again at St Mary's and
reminds us of this most powerful and important Christian objects. To contemplate
it's immense symbolism and the how these pieces of wood have defined our faith in
the triumph of our Lord. After the procession at the end of Mass there was an
opportunity to venerate a relic of the true cross.
