Christmass Bazaar

A smashing afternoon in the Church hall for the Christmas Bazaar - Snow fall up, temperature down but through the hard
work of those involved we topped last years total towards keeping our Church in good order. Many thanks to all
who helped make this year's Bazaar a success. Thanks also to George who visited us from
darkest East Anglia and took these great photos.

Each year our Church holds a bazaar in the hall during the run up to Christmass. Due to the hard work put in by those who organise it and to the wonderful support from friends who come and spend their money we have been able to raise a good deal towards the fabric of the church.

The Church Bazaar - 28th November 2009

It was a very cold day - but never mind last year it snowed... At this years
bazaar we had a great time and loads of people came to support us.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to organise the bazaar and
also to all who came and spent money this afternoon.

Church Bazaar - 29th November 2008

The last Saturday in November is the traditional day for our Church Christmass Bazaar. The morning saw all the stall holders and raffle organisers getting ready and making the Church hall in Ashwell Avenue look really festive .

The bazaar went really well with lots of stalls selling Christmass gifts and decorations, games to keep both young and old amused and even a visit from Father Christmas.

It all ended with prizes for the game winners and the raffle draws with prizes from giant hampers, bottles of 'pop', boxes of chocolate and even some cuddly toys. A very successful day with money raised towards the work on the west window at St Mary's. Many thanks to all who put so much effort and time into making this a great event.

The weather was very wet for our bazaar this year but lots of people braved the elements
to come and support us and with all the hard work that went into the stalls and
games it was a very busy and fun afternoon. Many thanks to all who make it so successful.

Christmass Bazaar - 18th November 2006

It's that time of year again... This years Christmass bazaar in the Church hall had
a great turn out on a beautiful autumn day. Many thanks to all who gave their time
and skills to fill the tables with great seasonal gifts and prizes, and to those who
supported St Mary's Church today.
