The Children's Service

Advent 1 - Toy/gift service - 29th November 2009

The start of a new Church year - the 1st Sunday in advent sees us in
purple again for the penitential period and means
that we start the services with Asperges through until Christmass.
(a couple of pics of Fr Yenda 'loading up' I've got a few more weeks
to try and get the actual distribution of the Holy water... not as easy as it looks)
 


The 11.15  children's service was our toy\gift service
where the children and members of the congregation brought
pressies which would be passed on to a local Luton charity to distribute
to children who may not have as happy a Christmass as we may have.

Candlemass, Sunday 28th 2007

During the Children's service after where we blessed candles we prepared some of them
for St Blaise later this week.

March 26th - Mothering Sunday

The children making up posies to give to their mothers. Fr Yenda having a 'Blue Peter' moment,
wishing that he had one he had made earlier to show off...

January 29th - Candlemass at the Children's Service

Father Yenda gets help preparing the candles which were blessed
at the morning Eucharist ready for St Blaise later in the week.
